The acquisition of the cloud-based video solutions company reinforces Panasonic’s existing security business as it looks to extend its cloud-based solutions to the business and consumer markets. As part of the acquisition, the team will join Panasonic Europe.
It’s an interesting move in the vertical plane from one of the world’s leading manufacturers of video surveillance cameras, though exactly how Panasonic’s cloud-based CCTV solution will be presented to the market is not yet clear.
