RISCO Group provided security management and additional security solutions for the new Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The Arena Pantanal was one of 12 stadiums constructed or re-modeled in Brazil for 2014 World Cup. The ground has a capacity for 44,000 spectators, and was constructed with a total investment of US$537.7 million.

Risco Group met the requirement for a comprehensive security solution that would ensure the tightest security and safety measures for the 44,000 spectator arena. Risco Group provided its Command and Control solution in addition to access control and a customised ticketing and validation system.

Risco Group’s Command and Control solution, employing the SynopSYS Integrated Security and Building Management platform, is based on intuitive synoptic maps and integrates all security and building management systems and subsystems, including those from third parties, into one unified interface, ensuring the highest levels of security for all visitors to this momentous event.

axesplus, Risco Group’s access control solution, was utilised at Arena Pantanal to secure the hundreds of doors and turnstiles within the arena, providing protection from unauthorised entry and counterfeit tickets. Risco Group also developed a specialised ticketing validation system complying with FIFA’s regulations for this purpose.
