Salto Systems Chooses Eagle Eye Networks For Cloud Access Control With Video
Salto KS cloud access and Eagle Eye Networks cloud video pair up.
Salto has announced a new partnership with Eagle Eye Networks’ Cloud VMS integrated via cloud to provide Salto KS customers a more cyber-secure video experience.
SALTO KS provides a flexible access control management system that requires no software to be installed. The modern cloud-based, wireless access control system is simple to use and the configuration with an Eagle Eye Cloud VMS customer account can be quickly accomplished in a few easy steps with the appropriate Eagle Eye Networks’ customer account credentials.
The way KS works is that a smartphone and wireless BLE Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) lock pair, and the lock is opened via BLE – including at a distance. There’s no need for an active internet connection and the smart device with its 2-factor authentication including a biometric, is more secure than an access control card. The integration with Eagle Eye Networks means that using the Salto KS mobile app a user can confirm a person’s identity before remotely granting access to any door and share the video footage with cloud back-up.
“It is great to be able to provide this integration with what we perceive is our twin in the industry for CCTV,” said Rick Voogt, MD Salto KS. “We are twins because our companies are almost the same age, we share the cloud vision and both share core values like security, reliability and both sell and support through a global network.”
Dean Drako, CEO and founder of Eagle Eye Networks said the team was pleased to work alongside Salto Systems globally to provide a better user experience for both end users and channel partners.
“Cloud systems are rapidly becoming the better option in physical security and we are determined to continue leading the transformation with strong partnerships like this one with Salto Systems,” Drako said.
